 Overnight
Odyssey: Camp-ins
This overnight program is an opportunity for school age youths to spend the
night exploring the world of astronomy through shows, exhibits, workshops, and
our world renowned telescopes. Incorporate a jammed packed science experience in
your child’s birthday party, your scout troop badge visits, or share a fun night
with family and friends. This is an adventure your group won’t soon forget!!!
WHO?
- Children between the ages of 6 and 13
- Minimum enrollment of 30 (plus 6 chaperones)
- Maximum enrollment of 60 (plus 12 chaperones)
- Chaperones required at a ratio of 1 chaperone for every 5 children
WHAT?
- Exciting overnight program designed to learn about science and astronomy through hands-on activities, workshops, and shows.
WHERE?
- Workshops take place in our well-equipped science classrooms.
- Shows in our state-of-the-art planetarium.
- Viewing of the stars through our impressive telescopes.
- Sleep overnight in the space center.
WHEN?
- Camp-Ins will take place on available Saturdays, year-round.
HOW?
- Provide a $250 deposit to hold your date.
- Provide headcount and age of children/ headcount of adults.
