SPRING BREAK Camp

Full Day Camps
April 6 - 10 (9am - 4pm)

Chabot offers hands-on, interactive activities that educate and entertain children of all ages. All camps include a hike in the Redwoods, one planetarium show and one theater show.

 

 

Micronauts (Grade Level 1st - 3rd)

This camp is just right for our youngest space explorers! Design your own spacesuit and train like a real astronaut. Make different types of rockets, try space food, and design and build a space station. Junior space commanders unite - 3... 2... 1... blastoff!

 

Space Out! (Grade Level 4th - 5th)

We pulled out all the stops for this one - fly a space mission to Mars, step into our portable Starlab, construct and launch a rocket, make a comet, search for planets through our telescopes and more. Space out on this super adventure through the universe.

 

Robotics World (Grade Level 6th - 8th)

Using the new Lego Mindstorms NXT software and hardware, campers will learn programming techniques that will really make your 'bots move. Design your robots to compete in daily 'bot to 'bot challenges - we're talking dance offs, battle 'bots, and rescue missions. Explore the world of robotics with us, and see what you can create.

Waste Free Lunch
All campers should bring their lunch if they are enrolled in an AM and PM camp the same week or in a full day camp. Lunch and lunchtime activities are supervised. Campers are strongly encouraged to bring a waste free lunch. Details will be sent with your registration packet.

Refund Policy

  • All camps must be paid in full with registration

  • Cancellation s up to three weeks prior to the first day of a camp session will be refunded minus 30%of the tuition

  • Cancellations up to one week prior to the first day of a camp session will be refunded minus 50% of the tuition

  • Cancellations made one week prior to the first day of a camp session will not be refunded
