Chabot-To-Go: CSSC’s
traveling science fair!
Chabot Space & Science Center's traveling science fair
will come to your school or organization evenings and
weekends. Chabot-to-Go features at least four tables of
hands-on space and science activities for all ages. Perfect
for a PTA event or family nights!
Content Packages
- Astronomy: Activities based upon stars,
galaxies, constellations, the solar system, planets,
moons, asteroids, and comets.
- Space and Astronaut Training: Activities
based upon human exploration, rockets, space shuttles,
astronaut apparatus training.
- CSSC Sampler: Activities selected from
various sciences and from the Astronomy & Space and
Astronaut Training content packages.

Each additional hour is $100. For schools outside a
twenty-mile radius of the Science Center, we charge an
additional mileage fee of $.34 per mile. School is
responsible for providing 6' - 8' long tables.
Starlab -- the Portable
Planetarium
Enjoy the night sky in our portable planetarium.
Average show length 20 minutes. Starlab dimensions: 22' x
20' x 11'. The Starlab requires two electrical outlets, and
can only be used indoors. Any room used for the Starlab
should have carpeted or tiled floors. Starlab accommodates
approximately 20 persons.
Add Starlab to any of the above options for an additional
$200.
Payment
Full payment is due no later than 4 weeks prior
to scheduled visit, or you may submit a P.O. from your
school district.
Refund/Cancellations Policy: A refund less a 10%
processing fee will be given is cancellation or rescheduling
notice is received at least two weeks prior to the scheduled
program. No refunds will be given after the cancellation
deadline. Rescheduling requests will be accommodated as
space becomes available.
Registration

mail as soon as possible, but no later than six weeks prior
to your desired visit date.
