Join us at Oakland’s newest co-working space for womxn for networking and an engaging panel discussion on how to empower the next generation of women in STEM and how to build a thriving leadership pipeline for women. Our panel will also address the role that Chabot Space & Science Center and other community organizations play in fostering opportunities for Oakland’s young women to explore and achieve success in STEM fields.
Moderated by Jennifer Liebeler Michael, Chabot Board Member and Research and Development Manager for Heath, Environment and Safety at Chevron, this panel will feature Jeanette Quinlan, Director of Space Systems at Akash Systems; Jane MacKenzie, Former board chair of Techbridge and former General Manager of Global Workforce Development with Chevron; Lisa Dyson, CEO at Kiverdi; Lisa Hoover, Programs Manager at Chabot; and Will Spivey, Campus Director of Education at the Aviation Institute of Maintenance.
