Ring in the New Year without staying up all night! Celebrate strokes of midnight around the world at 11 am, 12 pm, 2 pm, 3 pm and 4 pm! Kids will count down and celebrate with hundreds of colorful balloons dropping from above.

This popular annual event regularly sells out, so be sure to get tickets early! Get early access as a Chabot member! Members’ Tickets on sale Friday, November 25.

While this event is sold out, general admission tickets are still available to visit the museum on December 31.

Space is limited! Be sure to arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled event time for check-in.

To keep our party both fun and safe for participants, all children are required to wear masks in the balloon drop zone only. In other spaces throughout the museum, our current masking policy remains in place: masks are optional for Chabot Space & Science Center visitors.
