Join us for five epic days of hands-on activities, live demonstrations, inspiring talks, and interactive fun for all ages. Meet real NASA scientists, connect with Bay Area space innovators, and explore the bold ideas shaping tomorrow’s missions to the Moon, Mars, and beyond.
Whether you’re launching rockets, stargazing, or dancing to live music during our weekend festival—there’s something here for everyone.
Wednesday – Friday: Family Adventures in Space
July 30 – August 1 | 10AM–5PM
(Ages 3–5) | 10AM–12PM
Storytelling, sensory play, and space-themed tinkering designed just for early learners.
(Ages 6–12) | All Day
Build rockets, create exoplanets, and explore live science demos, workshops, and interactive challenges—perfect for curious kids and their grown-ups.

The countdown ends and the celebration begins! Explore a universe of hands-on fun for all ages, including jaw-dropping Planetarium shows, live science experiments with Chabot educators, creative workshops, and out-of-this-world demos that bring the magic of space down to Earth.
Local food trucks, live music, NASA Ames experts, Bay Area aerospace pros, and so much more!

What is the Space Renaissance?
The space renaissance is an ongoing transformation in how humans explore, engage with and think about space. There is a current wave of innovation and activity in space science and human exploration and investigation of the universe. This includes commercial space ventures, public and private collaborations, artistic engagement, and diverse talents and disciplines. It is technological, cultural and creative.
