When will my membership expire?
Discounted memberships purchased on Travel Zoo or Groupon will expire in January 2021.
When will upgraded memberships expire?
Upgraded memberships will expire on June 30, 2021, giving you a sneak peek at our new exhibitions and programs when we reopen.
How much does it cost to upgrade my membership?
It costs $34 to upgrade to the lowest tier of membership, Earth Active. We recommend higher tiers for families and larger groups.
What benefits are still in place during this closure? 
Access to our members exclusive site and live virtual programming and recordings. Members will have priority visits once we announce our reopening plans. Discounts to The Town Kitchen pantry and other various vendors when available.
What membership learning opportunities are planned? 
We are tirelessly working on creating virtual content and reassessing member benefits during the pandemic. Our suite of virtual workshops and lectures will be updated with new content and remain exclusive for members. If there are other types of benefits you are interested in, please don’t hesitate to let us know. Please email membership@chabotspace.org
Will I still have reciprocal museum benefits? 
Discounted members will continue to enjoy discounted or free admission to science centers and museums worldwide through the ASTC Passport program through January 2021. We encourage you to check any institution’s website for COVID-19 updates before visiting. We are always building relationships with other museums as we work together during the pandemic. We will share any additional reciprocal benefits from our partner organizations have when it is available to members.
Can I still redeem an expired Groupon?  
Yes, we can honor the cash value of any expired Groupon or Travelzoo voucher, you will only need to pay the balance to become a full member once we reopen.
Can I get a refund for my Groupon? 
No, unfortunately we cannot issue a refund for a Groupon or Travelzoo voucher. Please review Groupon and Travelzoo policies.
