Filming at Chabot

The Center is available for private film shoots, photo shoots, commercials, and videos. Media and documentary requests to photograph and film in the Center are coordinated by the Public Relations Office in coordination with the Rentals Office.

New Seasonal Public Hours

Chabot Space & Science Center has new public hours of operation beginning September 16, 2024. Chabot will be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. In addition to the new hours, Chabot will continue to be open for special programs and events during other times as noted on its website calendar, as well as for special private rental events by arrangement. School field trips will continue to be available with an increase in the number of openings on weekdays. Chabot looks forward to returning to a Wednesday through Sunday schedule during the summer months, beginning June 1, 2025.
