Planetarium

The Ask Jeeves Planetarium uses three visualization systems, which operate independently or in combination, to transport audiences on explorations of the Earth and Beyond.

• See the night sky as if you were viewing it from an uninhabited dark sky location on Earth. Our Zeiss Universarium fiber-optic star projector, one of only four in the United States, reveals the night sky, minus the glare of city lights, using world-class optics to create a precise, deep-field sky with up to 6,000 celestial objects.
• Fly through Earth’s upper atmosphere or voyage far beyond our galaxy. Our Digital Sky system can take you from a journey around Mars to an exploration of Dark Matter to a visit of exoplanets orbiting other stars, and beyond.

Chabot’s full-dome Planetarium shows let you to explore the Earth to the frontiers of the Milky Way galaxy observable Universe, all from the comfort of a climate controlled theater.
