Birthday Parties

Celebrate your birthday at Chabot Space and Science Center!

Our weekend Birthday Party package includes all-day admission to the Center for your guests of any age. The package includes a private room from 10:30 AM-1 PM or 12 PM – 2:30 PM. During this time, you are able to explore throughout the Center with a scavenger hunt, watch a planetarium show (or two!), enjoy various hands-on exhibits, and peer through our historic telescopes (weather permitting). The child of honor also receives a birthday gift from us!

Party Times

Saturday and Sunday

30 Visitor Packages: 10:30 AM-1 PM
70 Visitor Packages: 12 PM-2:30 PM

Hosts and party guests are welcome to enter the Center at any time on the day of the party during open hours, 10 AM – 5 PM, however, we are unable to offer access to the rental room outside of the stated hours.

Pricing

*Please note that all adults and children over the age of 2 years old are included in the visitor count​*
  • 30 Visitor Package
    • Member: $600 + $100 refundable deposit
    • Non-member: $750 + $100 refundable deposit
  • Up to 70 visitors
    • Member: $1,200 + $100 refundable deposit
    • Non-member: $1,500 + $100 refundable deposit

Please keep in mind that the following Items are not allowed in the center or the birthday party room:

  • Open flames of any kind, including birthday candles
  • Heating equipment of any kind
  • Helium balloons
  • Glitter
  • Confetti
  • Alcoholic Beverages
