CHOOSE YOUR THEME
SPACE ROCKS
In this classic scout favorite, you will learn about the origins of asteroids, meteors and comets, where they come from, what’s they’re made-of, when and how you can see them, and who studies them and why. Then, learn about the real NASA missions to explore some of these mysterious rocks. Lastly, you’ll finish the workshop by making a simulated dry ice comet.
SPACE EXPLORATIONS
Your mission is to plan an expedition of lunar discovery on the moon. You’ll learn, through hands-on exploration and challenges, about rockets, aerodynamics, and the science and geology of the Earth’s nearest neighbor, the moon. Choose a role from scientist, engineer, astronomer, researcher, astronaut to astrogeologist. You’ll also learn about the real people who work for NASA and how you can too.

TICKETS AND CANCELLATIONS
ONLINE ORDERS
The online ticketing system is for the convenience of groups, individuals and families who wish to pay by credit card in full at the time of reservation.
There is a special field to indicate your group, pack or troop affiliation to keep your group together. This method is preferred, rather than collecting payment from individual families. It prevents group leaders from getting stuck with outstanding payments from those unable to attend and pre-paid nonrefundable cancelations.
Please note: the online platform is limited to 99 transactions per order. Online tickets will remain available for sale until sold out. Tickets paper or digital barcode are required for entry. Tickets may be transferred to other attendees or substitutes.
CANCELLATION POLICY
There are no cancelations or reductions for group reservations or online ticket orders. This includes outstanding balances for overestimated attendees.
RESCHEDULING
INVOLUNTARY RESCHEDULE
Scheduled events that are unable to occur as a result of emergencies outside the control of Chabot will be rescheduled to a later available date as availability permits. Groups and guests are entitled to reschedule without penalty until such a time that regulations allow event gatherings.
