Earth and Environmental Sciences Activity Days at Chabot Space & Science Center Activities Debut on January 18, 2003 30 December 2002 — OAKLAND, CA: Chabot Space & Science Center launches Earth and Environmental Activity Days in the new year. One Saturday of each month, Chabot will host special guests and fun hands-on activities for learning more about our home planet! Featured Activities:
On January 18, 2003 special guest speakers and hands-on project leaders include Colorado Energy Science Center, Friends of Sausal Creek, and the Bay Area Air Quality Management District. All events take place from noon to 4 p.m. and are FREE with General Admission. GENERAL INFORMATION Chabot Space & Science Center is located at 10000 Skyline Blvd. in Oakland’s Joaquin Miller Park. Open Tuesday – Sunday. General admission to Chabot's galleries is $8.00/$5.50 seniors and children (with an additional charge for Planetarium and Theater shows). Children under 3 are admitted free. Students with ID receive a $1.00 discount. General admission to the galleries is FREE on the first Wednesday of each month (with an additional charge for Planetarium and Theater shows).
